A Senior Private Banker is responsible for managing, retaining, and growing a client portfolio by providing tailored financial solutions, wealth management services, and investment strategies. This role involves developing long-term relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing an exceptional client experience.
Full knowledge and understanding of all the systems related to the role. Collaborate cohesively with colleagues and build strong internal partnerships within the Private Bank. Be an active participate in bank-wide initiatives to improve processes, procedures, products, and services. Abide by banking regulations and compliance policies.

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.

Primary responsibilities include
Client Relationship Management:
- Work with Business Bankers/Relationship Managers to Build, maintain, and expand relationships with businesses, families, and individuals
- Serve as a primary banking advisor for clients; understanding financial goals, risk appetite, and investment preferences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver holistic financial solutions (Treasury, Lending, PWM, Foreign Exchange, etc.)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, handling account requests, and issue resolution with a focus on responsiveness and high-touch service.
- Knowledge on a range of banking, treasury and lending products.
- Coach and mentor bankers and associates, providing guidance on client management, industry trends, and technical banking solutions to support their professional development.
Business Development/Product Development/Process Improvement:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Contribute ideas to develop and implement strategies to attract and onboard new clients.
- Attend events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the bank.
- Stay updated on market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes to communicate with clients effectively.
- Work with all areas of the Bank to provide input for the design and implementation of new products, services and policies and procedures.
Risk and Compliance Management:
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive client information
- Adhere to the applicable federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.), as well as Bank policies and procedures.
- Identify and report suspicious activity to the Anti-Money Laundering Officer.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in consultative financial services industry with HWN and private bank clientele
- Demonstrated ability to provide white-glove service and resolution to clients
- Ideal candidate will have experience working with business/corporate clients with emphasis in Private Equity/Venture Capital and Alternative Investments
- Excellent relationship management, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, regulations, and risk management.
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: M-F. Hybrid schedule. In the Menlo Park office M-W, at minimum, and other in-person meetings/travel as required.
