The North America Ocean Import & Export Supervisor Position presents an exciting opportunity to take on a critical leadership role in an everchanging supply chain. Put your MP&L and Supply Chain knowledge to use as you lead a team to design and implement the most cost-effective logistics network. This network includes operational responsibility for Import and Export warehouse facilities. The team is responsible to ensure consistent flow of material to the plants in NA around the world while optimizing freight and inventory cost.

Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Manage Ocean Import Operations
- Achieve YoY freight and inventory reduction targets
- Improve inbound/outbound container utilization
- Manage the Ocean Lead Logistics Provider and Ocean Liners to optimize network design
- Manage ocean transit float to optimize accessorial, inventory, warehouse and premium freight
- Ensure annual ocean carrier bid is awarded on time and under budget
- Oversee Import deconsolidation operations at 6+ NA warehouse facilities.
- Manage Ocean Export Operations
- Implement lean management principles to deliver damage free material shipments on time
- Ensure 3PL packs and ships powertrains to 20+ global customers
- Ensure Daily/Weekly/monthly KPIs exceed global standards
- Secure capacity to support weekly demand
- Manage inventory control processes to exceed standards for inventory control
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Strong leadership behaviors, with a systemic process-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong CMMS3 knowledge,
- Experience with CMMS3 Data/Datamart or other Data Analytical Tools
- Strong supply chain, supplier performance and/or plant experience preferred
