PURPOSE
The Senior Director of Admissions Processing is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing the comprehensive processing of undergraduate, graduate, and international applications and enrollments at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, a public R2 research university. This role ensures that all application and enrollment processes are efficient, accurate, and align with the university's strategic enrollment goals. The Senior Director supervises staff across these departments and collaborates with university leadership to optimize enrollment operations.

DESCRIPTION
Functional Area 1: Enrollment Processing Leadership & Operations Management -
Percent Effort: 40%
- Oversee the end-to-end processing of applications and enrollments for undergraduate, graduate, and international students, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement standardized procedures and best practices to streamline operations and enhance the applicant experience.
- Collaborate with the admissions and recruitment teams to ensure seamless transitions from application submission to enrollment.
- In collaboration with the Admissions leadership team, plan, develop, recommend, organize, manage, and administer the operations procedures pertaining to the admission of all students.
Functional Area 2: Staff Supervision & Leadership Development
Percent Effort: 25%
- Lead, mentor, and supervise enrollment processing staff across undergraduate, graduate, and international applications, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide ongoing training opportunities to ensure staff are equipped with current best practices and knowledge in enrollment processing.
- Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and support career advancement for recruitment staff to maintain a motivated and effective team.
- Foster a collaborative office culture that emphasizes outstanding student-centered service excellence, accessibility, and responsiveness.
Functional Area 3: Technology Integration & Data Management
Percent Effort: 20%
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of enrollment management systems and technologies to enhance processing efficiency and data accuracy.
- Ensure the integrity and security of applicant data, adhering to institutional and legal standards for data management.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor processing timelines, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
Functional Area 4: Compliance, Reporting, & Continuous Improvement
Percent Effort: 15%
- Interpret and apply college admissions policies, rules, and regulations; ensure compliance with policy, state law, and applicable federal regulations pertaining to admissions processing and disclosure of applicant information.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems to track processing metrics and inform strategic decisions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processing workflows, reduce errors, and improve service delivery.
- Responsible for departmental budget development and oversite.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in higher education administration, business administration, information systems, or a related field.
- Ten (10) years of progressive experience in enrollment management or admissions operations, with at least three (3) years in a leadership role overseeing application and enrollment processing.
- Additional education may be considered as a substitution for the minimum requirements.
- Master's degree and eight (8) years of progressive experience in enrollment management or admissions operations, with at least three (3) years in a leadership role overseeing application and enrollment processing.
- Doctoral degree and six (6) years of progressive experience in enrollment management or admissions operations, with at least three (3) years in a leadership role overseeing application and enrollment processing.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex processes and leading teams in a higher education setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of building relationships and developing a skilled staff
- Proficiency in enrollment management systems and data analysis tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, and typical modern computer programs
- Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and regulatory environments.
- Strong customer service skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in higher education administration, business administration, or information systems
- Experience as a director of Admissions, Enrollment Processing, or Admissions Operations
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities.

SALARY: $80,000 - $90,000/annually, approximately.
- $6,666.67 - $7,500/monthly.
