Essential Functions:
Leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business or is a recognized expert in the field of rotor design, analysis, methods, and lifing. Responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications. This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within rotor components, design, analysis, lifing, NPI/NTIs, and validation.

The base pay range for this position is 152,400.00 - 254,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% bonus.

This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within rotor components, design, analysis, lifing, NPI/NTIs, and validation.
- Recognized technical expert in rotor design, analysis, lifing, NPI, and NTIs.
- Supports components or component systems, and provides consultation to management, all design organizations, and supplier organizations.
- Remains cognizant of state-of-the-art in rotor design.
- Ensure Technical rigor of process to develop safe, high quality products while being actively Engaged during design process
- Provides technical leadership in design reviews, task force, industrial committees, and design boards as necessary.
- Works closely with the Chief Consulting Engineer rotor design, analysis, lifing, NPI, and NTIs.
- Provide technical consultation to assigned organization and to other internal and supplier engineering and manufacturing organizations as needed.
- Foster Curiosity by striving for improved products & processes to support customers
- Identify and recommend where improvements in knowledge of the specific discipline are needed or where technical training is needed.
- Support total quality management strategy to assure early involvement on manufacturing process/producibility matters, as needed.
- Provide leadership to help focus and integrate new technology smoothly into production.
- Suggest areas where technology advancements are needed and recommend approaches/programs to pursue.
- Lead/support study teams to address top problems within the organization or projects in focused technical areas.
- Consult with and support the Chief Engineer's Office in the execution of technical goals of the office.
- Develop a Helpful mindset with all levels of engineering team and encourage dialogue between all groups
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- At least 8 additional years of experience in an engineering capacity

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Leadership to pursue correct engineering process in adverse conditions
- Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
