The Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Conduct targeted searches across the property operations function, including sales and maintenance roles
  • Continuously maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for property-level positions
  • Proficient with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Indeed, et, al
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand evolving requirements, skills and experience desired at local communities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, in a fast paced environment
  • Screen candidates to ensure they're technically qualified, using assessment tools and behavioral interviewing techniques, ensuring a good cultural fit
  • Present diverse qualified candidates to hiring managers, schedule candidates to meet with a diverse interview panel
  • Plans, attends and host, external recruiting events as needed/requested
  • Responsible for all aspects of the on-boarding process for each new hire
  • Provide ongoing updates on current openings
  • Stay current and up-to-date with industry trends and best practices


Requirements:
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Advanced knowledge of full-cycle recruiting components, including sourcing and hiring for various roles and levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume recruiting environment and balance competing priorities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in related field
  • Assess candidate qualifications, to make solid recommendations to hiring managers
  • Provide insight related to the candidates, skills/abilities, and the position requirements
  • Ability to effectively screen and interview all levels, from entry-level to experienced managers
  • Knowledge of candidate sourcing vehicles and direct sourcing techniques
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Boolean searches, Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems and Outlook


Education/Experience:
  • Minimum 3-6 years of full life cycle recruiting experience required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
  • 1 year of multi-family on-site property management experience or equivalent, retail, hospitality, or customer service-related industry preferred
  • Diversity recruiting experience preferred
  • Workday experience a plus
  • Project/Account Management skills a plus
