The Client Sustainability Intelligence & Decarbonization team is looking for a talented new team member to support our sustainability accounting, analytics, and reporting programs. This role will also be dotted-line to our Nature team (primarily based in Europe).
The Sustainability Intelligence Analyst will support our greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, emissions analytics, sustainability reporting programs, and water-related data management. This role is ideal for a professional early in their corporate sustainability career with experience in greenhouse gas accounting, data analysis, project management, and relationship management skills. You will support both the Sustainability Intelligence and Decarbonization pillars of our team, as well as the Nature team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Greenhouse Gas Emissions Accounting Support
  • Collect and analyze company activity data and perform subsequent greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculations across scopes 1, 2 and 3.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of GHG inventory systems, including data management protocols and software tools like Net Zero Cloud.
  • Document and refine process narratives, calculation methodologies, and inventory management practices.
  • Develop clear and concise documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform research on evolving industry trends, sustainability standards and frameworks, emissions calculation/modeling methodologies.
  • Water Data Management using Net Zero Cloud
  • Collect data on water consumption, withdrawal, discharge, and other critical metrics for offices, data centers, public cloud, and other key suppliers.
  • Develop and implement processes for footprinting and forecasting and ensure all data is integrated into Net Zero Cloud.
  • Help set water targets.
  • Reporting and Accountability
  • Oversee data collection and stakeholder coordination, ensuring timely submission for sustainability reporting and compliance.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in emissions, water, and nature-related reporting.
  • Deliver clear and timely data and insights to business partners to inform decision-making, using data visualization tools such as Tableau.

Agent force Support:
  • Perform validation and testing of AI sustainability agents developed by the team.
  • Maintain AI Agent build documentation.

Required Experience:
  • 2+ years of related experience with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and other sustainability frameworks and standards
  • Well-versed in emission factors and emissions calculation methodologies
  • Demonstrated analytical fluency, including a mix of qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Proficiency in performing complex calculations and data analysis in spreadsheets
