Conversion Lead

• Works with the Account Management team, PMO and the clients to define conversion schedules and strategy.
• Responsible for creating conversion project plans and will also perform all the project management tasks as they relate to the conversion. The task would include maintaining the project plan, following up with all resources to ensure project is on track, maintain communications with all stake holders as to the status of the project and escalate any issue and perform remedial measures when required to get projects back on track
• Will develop detail business requirements for each conversion to clearly define the development requirements for the conversion and client deliverables.
• Work with the development area to ensure that development tasks relating to conversion are delivered to QA in time as per the project plan.
• Develop detail testing requirements and resource these appropriately to ensure 100% quality for the conversion.
• Work with the QA department to ensure that functional regression is completed where identified in the plan and validate the results of the QA to ensure that all testing requirements have been successfully completed
• Test the conversion to ensure the conversion performs within the criteria for success as laid out with clients. The success criteria would include acceptable parameters for conversion runtime performance and exception counts & proper audit reports
• Balance the conversion and ensure the results from the delta's are fully investigated and followed-up with the client to successful resolution..
• Ensure that all open issues with source data or conversion defects are followed up with the client to resolution.
• Responsible for creating procedures and policies for testing and running these conversions and work towards creating an effective, documented, repeatable process for client conversions
• Work with infrastructure teams and DBA teams to setup and optimize conversion testing both at Broardridge and the client site.
• Support the Charter documentation to create an objective summary of the conversion scope, assumptions, timeline and cost.
• He/She will bring continuous improvement to conversion process, design, documentation and management through constant review of completed project using best practices and lessons learned.
