CetraRuddy is currently seeking an Interior Designer with specialized experience in experience in healthcare, cultural, educational, or institutional projects. The successful candidate will participate in the development of designs for the interior an institutional project, as well as future projects ranging from residential developments to cultural & educational projects. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to complex projects while upholding the firm's dedication to quality, creativity, and contextual integrity.

As an Interior Designer, you will work closely with the civic project's Designer in charge and other project team members to develop design solutions. Your responsibilities will include producing precise drawings, renderings, and presentations for both internal and external developers, as well as coordinating construction documentation and selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). You may also have the opportunity to mentor Junior Designers and Interns, ensuring the alignment of all efforts with CetraRuddy's design principles.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to refine and implement the conceptual framework from the winning submission into cohesive interior design solutions.
  • Take charge of developing and managing detailed technical documentation, including construction details and specifications.
  • Create efficient space layouts that maximize functionality while ensuring comfort and accessibility for residents.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate interior design seamlessly into the broader project framework.
  • Selecting and specifying materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that meet the aesthetic and functional goals of each project.
  • Ensuring all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
  • Providing oversight and guidance to Junior Designers and Interns, fostering their development while maintaining project integrity.


Skills/Requirements

  • Professional Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in an architecture or interior design firm
  • Proficient experience in Revit is required.
  • Proven experience and comfort in handling complex projects are essential.
  • Candidates must have experience on educational, civic, and healthcare related interior design projects.
  • Strong design sensibility and technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A commitment to active participation in the studio culture and collaborative teamwork.


Programs/Software

  • Computer skills must include AutoCAD, Sketch-up, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Demonstrated superior graphic production & presentation abilities.


Pay Range: The base salary for this position is estimated to range between $85,000 and $105,000 depending on experience, with opportunities for bonuses and a competitive benefits package.
