Description:

Meta's Product Content Operations team is a global group of content experts whose remit is to refine content experiences across platforms and products. The team is looking for a skilled content manager to drive processes and organize execution across a variety of projects. The main function of a content manager is to aid in surfacing the best content and conversations on Meta platforms in connection with product strategy. As Content Manager, you will have experience in understanding technical product needs and translating them into actionable direction and readouts for a content-focused organization.

Content Manager Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day facilitation of project execution at the work-stream level
  • Identify timely and high-value content or content attributes, both on and off platform, across a variety of media types
  • Design, incubation, and iteration of systems and processes to assess and enable project effectiveness and efficiency
  • Create both project- and organization-level recommendations based on data and product metrics
  • Draft and edit guidelines that help review content at scale while maintaining commitment to accuracy and consistency
  • Lead and organize multiple cross-functional projects and forums
  • Support team leads and project execution by identifying and driving an innovative content strategy
  • Support regular reviews of project progress and leadership readouts
  • Editing and refining team communications
  • Supporting all project workstreams with content management as needed


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in content or social media management or journalism with combined experience in software or technology industry, partnering directly with product teams
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience in project management experience, in a technology, product, or media environment
  • Candidates should have proven editorial judgment, as well as experience managing content teams through every stage of product development, including roadmap formation, iterative testing, and quality control efforts.
  • Experience creating processes or projects that improve team efficiency and impact
  • Demonstrated experience being extremely organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful
  • Proven communication and relationship-building skills with peers and senior stakeholders
  • Flexibility and agility in reprioritizing tasks daily
  • Proficient with Google Suite, project management tools and software


Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in multiple languages is preferred
  • SQL and query experience are a plus

$129,000/year to $152,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
