Description:
We are looking for a Software Engineer to work for our Sterling Heights, MI office. Ideally, were looking for someone with 10-15+ years of experience in software engineering with a bachelors in a related field. You will be responsible for requirements generation, simulation, design, development and integration of complex military combat vehicle software-based systems.

Required Skills & Experience
Ability to obtain secret clearance
BSc Engineering (Electrical, CS, Software, Systems, Aerospace, Automotive)
5-10+ year of software engineering experience (mid-level 5, senior 10+)
Experience with DoD ground vehicle requirements and working on DoD vehicles
Strong embedded C/C++ experience (Simulink would be a plus but not required)
Experience with SysML Model-based SW Development
Support prototype development and test (ensure functionality)
Experience with standard bus protocols (J1939 CANBus, RS422/485, 802.3 Ethernet)
Understanding of vehicle power distribution systems/Power Distribution Modules (PDMs) and how they integrate into automotive systems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Simulink experience
Familiarity with the US Army TACOM / TARDEC / GVSC organizations
Experience with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence
Experience with VICTORY, FACE, GCIA & MOSA standards
Detailed knowledge of Military Standards and regulations
