Adecco is actively seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for their multi-family residential construction projects in Calgary, AB. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 to $140,000 per annum. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of hands-on experience in site supervision, particularly within the multi-family residential sector. Responsibilities:
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
  • Developing and updating project schedules in collaboration with the project manager, while monitoring and controlling project budgets.
  • Ensuring all work meets or exceeds quality standards and is completed on schedule.
  • Enforcing safety regulations and fostering a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
  • Providing regular updates to clients, stakeholders, and senior management on the progress of the project.
  • Addressing and resolving any on-site issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Managing project documentation, reporting, and record-keeping to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • 7-10 years of experience in site supervision within the construction industry, with a strong focus on multi-family wood frame residential projects (4-6 floors with underground parkades).
  • In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades, while ensuring project goals are met.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for quality control, ensuring all work meets or exceeds project specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction software and project management tools to track progress and manage documentation.
  • Extensive experience in enforcing safety protocols and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
