Honeywell is seeking a Senior Executive Events Specialist to be based in the company's global headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced, poised, and versatile corporate event planning/management professional who wants to join a technology leader and help shape the future.

With day-to-day direction from the Executive Events team lead, this individual will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of key company events. These include Board of Directors meetings, employee engagement events at headquarters, senior leadership events, and corporate philanthropic programs. This work involves collaborating closely with key partners, venues, vendors, and contractors to conceive, design, plan and execute these events, as well as measure outcomes, engagement, and participant satisfaction. This successful candidate will also craft, edit, and maintain communication and promotional materials for the events, including attendee messages, registration packages and website content, and post-event surveys.

The ideal candidate will be a confident, proactive event planning/management professional with a proven track record of successfully designing and executing signature programs for influential stakeholders. Outstanding project management and written and verbal communication skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:
Performing extensive research on and planning of hospitality aspects of corporate events, such as meeting venues, hotels, restaurants, food and beverage, gifts, and transportation.
Developing and maintaining comprehensive event project plans and effectively managing items to completion.
Preparing executive-focused presentations and reports on planned and completed programs.
Managing relationships with key internal partners, including regional and business leaders, communications colleagues, and event vendors.
Executing all necessary aspects of an event plan and measuring outcomes relative to key performance indicators established at the outset of a program.
Developing communications and promotional materials in support of signature events.
Supporting the design and execution of signature leadership programs, including Board of Directors events.
Planning virtual meetings, as needed.

YOU MUST HAVE:
A Bachelor's Degree a must. Concentration in Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality or Events would be preferred.
Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in private- or public-sector event planning/management.
Experience using Cvent or similar event management software. Example: Eventbrite, RegFox , Hopin, Bizzabo, or Eventzilla
Experience using SmartSheet or similar project management software.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office suite.
