Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Process Development Engineer I to lead and drive the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for our diverse range of food and beverage products. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in process engineering, a strong understanding of food science, and a passion for innovation in product development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process Development: Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies to improve product quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
* Optimization: Analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and lead projects aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing waste.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure seamless transition from product development to manufacturing.
* Testing and Validation: Plan and execute experiments to validate process parameters, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, protocols, and results; ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
* Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication effectively.
Qualifications:
* PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
* 5+ years of food industry experience
* Strong understanding of food processing techniques, equipment, and industry regulations.
* Proven track record of successfully leading projects from concept to implementation.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and statistical process control.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
