The Senior Business Intelligence Financial Analyst will utilize their in-depth and hands-on knowledge of enterprise data systems, software technology, and report authoring to perform enterprise-scale data analysis and reporting across core Firm software systems. They are expected to collaborate with members of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, as well as other end users across the Firm, to effectively translate data into actionable information that can be used to drive decision making. The Senior B.I. Financial Analyst is also expected to assist the FP&A team in producing financial analyses and recommendations, while looking to introduce efficiencies and new innovative approaches, such as data visualization. A strong candidate will have an information systems and/or a finance background, and be an analytical, detail oriented individual who can communicate clearly and effectively.

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer's offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $120,000 - $160,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

Responsibilities
- Support FP&A's scheduled and ad hoc reporting processes by facilitating the extraction and analysis of the relevant business data and key performance indicators
- Develop a strong understanding of the Firm and financials metrics associated with the legal industry to be able to identify and address critical business issues
- Create solutions to align and track business performance against Firm goals through the employment of SQL code bases and utilization of existing data objects
- Partner with key stakeholders within the Firm to design, develop, implement and maintain new reporting functionality and value-added analytics, using the various B.I. tools at their disposal
- Identify opportunities to automate reports and processes to drive efficiency gains within the Firm
- Maintain and develop improvements for existing suite of reports and analytical applications
- Coordinate with the Finance Systems team for system maintenance, report and application development, and quality assurance
- Develop policies and controls over reporting services applications to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of dashboards and automated reports with controlled access to authorized users
- Take a lead role in the implementation of data quality improvement processes and initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or a related area
- 4-7 years hands-on experience in the design and development of business intelligence solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
- Strong familiarity with the Microsoft technology suite, relational database management systems, and enterprise application integration
- Strong quantitative skills, ability to analyze complex, multi-faceted problems and offer solutions; credentials in Accounting, Finance, or Economics a plus
- Knowledge of Aderant Expert database or similar financial management system (e.g. Elite Enterprise) a plus
- Experience with enterprise report development tools; ability to design and deliver scalable solutions which balance performance, reliability, and maintenance
- Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment where attention to detail is critical
- Proven ability to set priorities and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Experience producing interactive dashboards and/or BI data visualization techniques
- Experience working with both technical and business teams
- Ability to work both collaboratively as a team member and independently on select projects
- Experience in Business Analysis is a plus
