The Position
  • We are a cutting-edge cyber security company and we are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy commercial counsel to join our global legal team. This role will be based in our Tampa office and report to the General Counsel.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Provide legal advice and support in relation to a wide range of commercial matters. This includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating software licensing and SaaS agreements, OEM agreements, MSAs, vendor agreements, partner agreements, etc.
  • Remain up-to-date on relevant industry laws and regulations to ensure an ongoing ability to provide sound compliance advice
  • Be proactive in support of team improvement initiatives in relation to provision of legal services and operations, including contract management, corporate responsibility, training and knowledge management
  • Be a valued member of a growing cross-functional and global team, collaborating and building relationships with internal stakeholders across the company
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional internal and external teams on ongoing operational matters, including compliance, corporate governance and data protection

Qualifications:
  • JD from an accredited law school and state bar admission
  • 7+ years relevant legal experience (law firm and/or in-house experience)
  • Experience with a variety of commercial transactions with a willingness and ability to be flexible and to develop new expertise
  • Experience working in a dynamic B2B sales environment
  • Service-oriented attitude, professional integrity, growth mindset
  • Ability to resolve complex legal issues practically and efficiently
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage workloads to meet deadlines in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • Team player who welcomes responsibility and effectively engages with others
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Possesses a practical, real world, collaborative approach to problem solving with the ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment.
