YOUR ROLE

The Control Tower Team Supervisor has the responsibility for Project Logistics Operations & Customer Service Teams for projects throughout their life cycle. The purpose of this role is to achieve the highest customer service quality and profitability goals through the management of the supporting workstreams within the team. The role is to manage a team of freight specialists for one or more strategic projects. Establish a team that provides Customer Excellence, Pricing and Revenue Care for all orders and shipments to deliver the best overall result for the project. The individual should have the financial acumen to be alert for any revenue-making opportunities as well as risks to the P&L. In some cases personal and active overseeing and guidance of larger project shipments will be required. The Supervisor role will be applicable for countries that require several team leaders to lead the teams. The Supervisor will oversee the team of team leaders.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully onboard new business ensuring that the client's requirements are met and that profitability is achieved
  • Make sure that all systems and data are accurately and timely recorded including (but not limited to) OGS, Salog, Acon and Incident App
  • Drive continuous improvements based on customer needs or global Project Logistics initiatives
  • Provide rates and pricing for project requirements
  • Execute business in line with rates provided
  • Supplier Relationship Management and adhering to the assessment and approval process of suppliers/vendors
  • Liase with Chartering and Transport Engineering
  • Creating and managing an independent team
  • Pro-active resolution of client issues and escalations
  • Project Logistics cost management and maintaining financial reporting and allocation


YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or other related field
  • 3+ years experience in Project Logistics, particularly in Energy/Oil and Gas/Marine, and other special special cargo
  • 2+ years people leadership experience
  • Demonstrable experience leading cross-functional projects
  • Confidence with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, necessary
