GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the LWD-Learning & Workforce Dev department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
The Vice President (VP) of Learning and Workforce Development is a member of the President's Cabinet with executive responsibility for planning, managing, and evaluating all curriculum, and continuing education areas of the college. The VP provides highly complex and responsible assistance to the President and provides leadership as the college seeks opportunities to better serve students, the community, and business. The VP works collaboratively with business and industry to ensure that the college has innovative workforce training programs that respond to community labor market demands.
The ability to promote the vision, mission, and goals of the college by communicating core purposes and supporting all instructional units of the College. The ability to demonstrate leadership in designing and sustaining a rigorous academic program that provides support for ranges of student ability from developmental education to honors, includes international activities, learning communities, and service learning. Skill and/or competency in leadership planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and in the development and evaluation of academic programs. Broad knowledge and perspective on issues and challenges facing higher education to include developing competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans. Exemplary oral and written communication skills. Ability to assess business data appropriately and use data to identify opportunities to serve and make effective decisions regarding the needs of business and industry. Social and political sensitivity and ability to anticipate future trends. Problem solving skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Doctorate degree from a regionally accredited institution plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible work related experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Doctorate degree with 10 years or more of progressively responsible academic and administrative experience, including experience in teaching, supervising full-time faculty, and administering exemplary academic and workforce development (CE) programs, with proven success in improving educational outcomes and student retention. Evidence of collaborative data-driven decision-making, consensus building, and teamwork. A track record of excellent management, organization, and interpersonal communication skills and an ability to oversee the division's fiscal, physical, and human resources, including faculty, staff, and students. A demonstrated commitment to experiential education, community engagement, and evidence of promoting an environment for students, faculty, and staff in alignment with Greenville Technical College's goals and priorities Experience with the application of the 4 Disciplines of Execution system and/or in-depth understanding of the 4DX process and its organizational benefits.
