What does this role look like?
The Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (FBM) is seeking a Technical Documentation & Data Coordinator to join our mission in Cape Canaveral, FL!
As a Technical Documentation & Data Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining technical documentation for Lockheed Martin. These documents can include both digital and paper mediums ensuring that they comply with technical specifications, meet schedule deadlines, and fit the user's needs. The documents detail processes and products involved in performing specific maintenance or military tasks. Technical Documentation & Data Coordinators are the cornerstone between engineers, writers, government customers and the end-users utilizing the procedures. They ensure documentation is managed appropriately, organized, and delivered in a timely fashion.
As a Technical Documentation & Data Coordinator, you will use problem solving skills to assess dynamic operational and schedule changes for Technical Manuals that include Ordnance Pamphlets (OP), Ordnance Documents (OD), and Special Weapon Operating Procedures (SWOP).
In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:
You will problem solve and provide solutions to a variety of technical and schedule problems while following and maintaining requirements.
You must be a self-starter and be able to work under general guidance. Work completion will be reviewed for soundness of technical judgement and overall accuracy.
You must be a good facilitator and have good inter-personnel skills to work with a diverse team of US Navy personnel, engineers, technicians, and fellow manufacturing engineers to reconcile organizational needs within documentation.
You will coordinate with various organizations to ensure documentation is produced and delivered.
You will provide production support for SWS facility documentation processing.
You will reconcile procedures against schedule and coordinate with supporting activities.
You will abide by security/classification standards and requirements while managing classified documentation.
You must review and verify documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements.
Basic Qualifications
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience handling, organizing, and coordinating documentation/data
Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and PDF editing tools
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to travel occasionally
You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Desired skills
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
Experience handling/managing classified documentation/data
Familiarity with Data at Rest and Encryption
Working Knowledge of FBM/Reentry systems documentation (e.g. ODs, SWOPs, etc.)
Strong Software background
Knowledge of MS Access
Knowledge of XML and basic structured markup languages
Ability to review/assess compliance with requirements

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
