To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of full stack Exadata support experience.
- Proficiency in full stack patching of the Exadata appliance.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting performance issues.
- Understanding of the process for replacing failed components of the appliance.
- At least 5 years of Oracle DBA experience.
- Experience in supporting Oracle Recovery Appliances.
Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma with Oracle certification is acceptable.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant work experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Addressing Exadata hardware failures promptly.
- Applying Exadata patches to ensure optimal performance.
- Participating in rotating on-call off-hours coverage for support.
- Fielding and responding to customer requests efficiently.
- Investigating and resolving performance issues as they arise.
