Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Responsibilities
As the Software Engineer, Junior, you will:
- Join an engaged, 100% employee-owned company
- Basic Linux/windows troubleshooting skills
- Bash scripting
- Analyze software engineering/software integration problems
- Perform software integration and testing for aircraft avionics systems.
- Perform software management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, throughput and cybersecurity
- Develop and apply automated solutions to problems.
- Use development tools to update tasks and stories, check-in, and version control
- Analyze commercially available, open source, government furnished and contractor furnished software.
- Analyze architectural and functional requirements, specifications, and interfaces
- Contribute to software specifications and designs for proposed solutions
Qualifications
- Active or the ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance (Requires US Citizenship)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Degrees in Engineering, Math, and Physics may qualify with at least 1 year of C++ experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience with scripting, database, and programming languages
