ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a driven leader with a passion for sustainability and business growth? We are seeking an
experienced Recycling Manager to spearhead a new business line within our Aggregates Division. This is a
unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded professional to build and scale a multi-location recycling
operation.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Build and Grow: Lead the development and expansion of our recycling operations, driving growth and profitability.
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day recycling operations across multiple locations, ensuring efficiency and high standards.
  • Strategic Leadership: Identify new opportunities, develop business strategies, and optimize material recovery.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team to support operational excellence.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align operations with market demand, customer needs, and business development strategies.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree, or 5-10 years of operational experience and 3 years of experience in a managerial position is required
Field of Study Preferred: Engineering, Business, Recycling, Aggregates
Required Computer and Software Skills: Knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project Management, CATS and SAP is preferred
Travel Requirements: Travel locally within Region

Additional Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience in recycling, aggregates, or a related industry
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of launching or scaling business operations.
  • Strong operational and strategic management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple locations and rive continuous improvement.
  • Knowleged of environmental regulations and material recovery processes.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams to support business growth.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
