We seek a dynamic leader to drive the MedTech Procurement Category and Agile organization, aligning with the ambitious goals of the sector. This role is pivotal in elevating procurement practices and ensuring that the function drives impactful results. The successful candidate will collaborate directly with Med-Tech Business Engagement Leaders as well as Business and Key Functional Leaders, leveraging their expertise to align procurement activities with strategic business priorities.
Key Objectives:
Strategic Alignment: Lead NA based Category & Agile teams Procurement to deliver exceptional results. Act as a critical partner to Med-Tech Business Engagement Leads and their teams to harmonize procurement activities with overarching business goals. Global Leadership: Serve as a thought leader on Category best practices to enable category leaders in the regions.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
173,000-299,000 USD Annually
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

- Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a diverse team of Category & Agile Leaders across Research & Development and various Commercial Categories- including Agencies & Media, Sales & Distributor Services, Professional Education, Global Strategic Insights, and Marketing Operations- to foster an environment of creativity and high performance.
- Strategic Prioritization: Identify and prioritize both current and emerging MedTech R&D and Commercial objectives, formulating pioneering procurement strategies that meet the sector's short-term needs while advancing long term value creation.
- Collaborative Strategy Development: Partner with MedTech Business Engagement leaders and senior executives to ensure procurement strategies not only meet business needs but also lead to transformative outcomes through effective adoption within the organization.
- Industry Insight and Trend Integration: Analyze MedTech market trends, integrating insights into category strategies to ensure that Procurement remains at the forefront of industry innovation and relevance to the Johnson & Johnson MedTech business.
- Oversight of Category Teams: Provide inspirational leadership and oversight to multiple category teams, ensuring the development and implementation of robust global category strategies and proactive supplier management.
- Strategic Negotiations: Drive major strategic negotiations for owned categories or advocate for the needs of the sector within the enterprise One Procurement framework.
- Performance Delivery: Lead the MedTech Category & Agile Procurement organization to achieve above benchmark performance targets, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement within the role's areas of responsibility.
Qualifications: Required Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Required; MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
Required Years of Related Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in a relevant field with a demonstrated history of progressive leadership.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong Business Acumen: Exceptional capability to analyze challenges through the lens of the business and key functional leaders.
