Job Summary:

The Institutional Securities Technology (IST) division at Client is seeking a candidate to join the team responsible for the Risk & Finance Data Quality Acceleration program. The role will involve bridging the gap between policy, central tooling, program governance, and delivery, and working directly with development teams to support the successful delivery of data quality initiatives. The position requires knowledge of data governance concepts, experience in managing global teams, and a strong understanding of data architecture and management principles.

The department is focused on developing and overseeing technology solutions across multiple business lines including Trading & Sales, Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations, and Regulatory, with a primary focus on Data Governance, Data Quality, Analytics, Security & Privacy, and Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the Risk & Finance Data Quality Acceleration Program efficiently and effectively.
• Bridge gaps between policy, central tooling, program governance, and delivery processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to educate them on intended outcomes and available tooling to support data quality initiatives.
• Troubleshoot roadblocks encountered Client's Data Policy, responsibilities, and commitments within the Application Development organization.
• Maintain an understanding of Client's Data Architecture & Management principles, as well as the BCBS 239 framework.
• Participate in outcome-oriented metrics and continuously evaluate program effectiveness.
• Partner with the Firmwide Data Office to enhance strategic tooling for Cataloging & Lineage.
• Be willing to extend beyond core responsibilities to assist with general program needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Familiarity with data governance concepts such as cataloging, ownership, lineage, and data quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
• Strong ability to understand technical solutions and apply them to resolve issues or support project goals.
• Ability to work at an API and configuration level, despite the role not being coding-focused.
• Experience working with global teams across multiple locations.
• Ability to express complex ideas and deliverables in a clear and concise manner.

Preferred Qualifications (if any):

• Knowledge of BCBS 239 framework and its application to data management.
• Experience with Firmwide Data Office initiatives or similar large-scale data governance programs.

Certifications (if any):

Relevant certifications in Data Governance, Data Management, or Risk & Finance are a plus (e.g., CDMP - Certified Data Management Professional, CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
