Responsibilities
At Post Consumer Brands, the Sr. Oracle Developer will design, develop, and maintain applications to support our business capabilities. This role involves implementing, enhancing, and maintaining software applications and integrations, collaborating with other IT roles and business team members, and ensuring operational excellence for the applications owned. The Sr. Oracle Developer will maintain strong working relationships with business analysts, project leads, supervisors, managers, and other IT staff members, as well as Super Users, business leads, and other employees needing IT support.

The Sr. Oracle Developer will maintain strong working relationships with business analysts, project leads, supervisors, managers, and other IT staff members, as well as Super Users, business leads, and other employees needing IT support.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain application and integration interface solutions.
- Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and Business Process Leads to develop software system requirements, specifications, and designs.
- Provide technical knowledge and expertise to help Business Systems Analysts translate business needs into technical designs.
- Assist with installation of new software, upgrades, and software patches, as well as database tuning.
- Design, develop, and document data models and architectures that represent specific business processes/solutions.
- Resolve complex issues and assist with root cause analysis and resolution as required.
- Provide 24x7 operational support as part of a rotating on-call team.
- Design, develop and document data models and architectures that represent specific business processes/solutions - skilled at data and process modeling and relational databases.
- Creative problem solving/troubleshooting skills - ability to resolve complex issues and own or assist with root cause analysis and resolution as required.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize/execute tasks in high-pressure fast paced environment
- Highly confident, self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
- Understands the role and importance of information security.
- Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude, even under high pressure situations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor and/or Master's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, information management or related discipline.
- 7+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience.
- Demonstrated PL/SQL experience, including complex query writing, performance tuning, and support.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and/or Apex.
- Excellent knowledge of software system development methodologies and Relational Data Base concepts.
- Experience working in and supporting a SOX-compliant environment.
Preferred Experiences/Capabilities:
- Preference will be given to those candidates with 3-5 years working experience in a CPG Manufacturing company with knowledge across multiple cross functional system solutions such as ERP (JDE preferred), WMS (Koerber Preferred), Inventory Management, Supply Planning, Production Scheduling, or Master Data Management.
- Preference for working experience with one or more of the following application integration platforms: Boomi, Mulesoft, Tibco, SOA or ETL such as Datastage.
- Fluency in cloud platforms and concepts such as MS Azure, DevOps, API connectivity, containerization, and cloud security (OAuth 2.0, Azure Active Directory)
