Job Title: Speech Pathologist

Job Specialty: Speech - Language Therapy

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 8, 5x8 Hr

Guaranteed Hours: 40.00

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience (preferably in a clinic setting)

License: Current/valid state Speech Pathologist licensure required

Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association

Must-Have:

- 1 year of experience in a relevant setting
- Current/valid state Speech Pathologist licensure

Job Description:

- Provide service to patients with speech and language problems.
- Participate in the development of speech therapy plans of care for patients.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify patients' level of functioning and communication abilities, including OASIS Assessments at appropriate time points.
- Communicate with the physician before the start of care and as needed.
- Implement the plans of care.
- Provide education and instruction to team members, patients, and families.
- Document care and submit paperwork accurately and timely to update and maintain patient medical records.
