- Schedule: Full-Time, Days (No Weekends)
- Compensation: $43.00-$64.00/hr (Based on Experience)

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, staff engagement, and operational performance in the Med-Surg department.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the Med-Surg department operations on a 24-hour basis
- Set performance standards and mentor staff to ensure top-quality patient care
- Monitor and manage department budget, staffing, and resource utilization
- Oversee daily operations to meet quality improvement and patient satisfaction goals
- Round daily with patients to manage expectations and elevate the care experience
- Drive best practices such as hourly rounding, staff recognition, and "Managing Up"
- Foster a collaborative team environment, emphasizing accountability and compassion
- Maintain compliance with all corporate and regulatory standards
- Licensure: Current Florida RN License or Compact License (must meet FL requirements)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Certifications:
- BLS - within 30 days of start
- ACLS - within 30 days of start
- CPI - within 30 days of start
- Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of strong leadership experience in Med-Surg within an acute care setting
- Must have current Director-level experience or be a highly experienced Manager ready to step up
- Reports to: Hospital Leadership
- Team Size: Approx. 60 FTEs
- Setting: 280-bed acute care facility with robust behavioral health services
- Focus Areas: Patient satisfaction, staff engagement, cost-efficiency, quality of care
