Summary
The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing all clinical aspects of the LifeBridge Health Center for Virtual Care (CVC), including, but not limited to: consultation with the CVC clinical team; oversight of process, procedure, and directing the CVC clinical staff's patient care delivery; development of clinical workflows to support system-wide virtual care delivery initiatives. Makes recommendations and works collaboratively with the Assistant Vice President of the CVC, and other departmental leadership where appropriate.

Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight:
- Acts as a role model for excellent patient care and personal attitude.
- Responsible for direct clinical oversight and escalation of all virtual care delivery within the Center for Virtual Care.
- Communicates to staff and holds departmental staff accountable to same expectations.
- Services as a clinical resource to nursing staff, APPs, and other team members.
- Manages variation in clinical practice, where appropriate, to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and outcomes.
- Participates in recruitment, hiring, and training of clinical staff, including advanced practice providers and nurses. Provides effective quality oversight and performance evaluations.
- Reports all clinical implementations and escalations through the physician executive of LBH Medical Group.
- Creates and maintains the schedules for all clinical staff.
- Supervises the clinical team in clinical decisions with use of evidence-based practice.
- Defines all policies and procedures for clinical staff, creates and ensures compliance with clinical escalations.
- Participates in creation of clinical documentation to ensure all legal and system standards are met.
- Develops any clinical guidelines and workflows necessary for new use cases. Participates actively in implementation of new technology for clinical staff.
- Collaborates with clinical leadership where appropriate for virtual care/on-site care partnerships.
- Performs duties within scope of medical license, and ensures all clinical staff do the same. Operational Oversight:
- Fosters a culture of innovation to the team; committed to the mission, vision, and strategy of the LifeBridge Health system.
- Collaborates with operational stakeholders across LifeBridge Health system for patient-facing virtual care use cases.
- Considers strategic system goals and metrics during when exploring and implementing new use cases.
- Offers operational guidance and experience for new virtual use case implementation.
- Stays up to date on virtual use case implementations across health systems, bringing back to CVC leadership team for review.
- Maintains admin/superuser capabilities for all virtual platforms implemented by CVC team.
- Interfaces, when appropriate, with executive leadership to communicate use case opportunities, challenges, and future strategy.
- Interfaces with vendors to ensure all clinical aspects of tool are appropriate and within LBH, state, and federal standards of care.
- Supports the standards of the Joint Commission as it relates to use cases overseen by the Center for Virtual Care.
- Provides data to leadership to support KPIs/metrics for use cases, when appropriate. Legislative Oversight:
- Maintains understanding of local and national regulations that may impact virtual and digital care delivery.
- Supports and demonstrates regulatory compliance related to quality standards and expectations.
- Collaborates with legislative, compliance, and leadership teams to coordinate communication of regulatory changes to LifeBridge Health clinicians delivering virtual care.

- NP or MPAS or MSN Licenses And Certification:
- Current Maryland PA or CRNP License
