Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience in the US government sector, specifically in IT services.
- Track Record: Proven track record of closing high-value deals (deal sizes of $1-5 million) and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of Federal and state government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to articulate complex technical solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Network: Established network of contacts within federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus but not required
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the US Public sector
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers within government agencies to establish and maintain strong business relationships.
- Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, to closing deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and delivery, to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of government clients.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
- Represent company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance the company's presence and build a network of contacts within the government sector.
