The Sales Operations Technology and Enablement team operates at the intersection of business and technology, delivering impactful, scalable solutions that support sales success and customer engagement. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives across a portfolio of platforms-especially Salesforce, integrated portals, and other sales-facing tools.
This role offers the opportunity to manage the entire project lifecycle from intake and planning to delivery and post-launch support. You'll work in close collaboration with product owners, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution. Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Execution:
Lead the delivery of complex projects across Sales Operations systems. Own project plans, schedules, risk logs, communications, and stakeholder alignment from kickoff through closeout. - Methodology Flexibility:
Apply the appropriate level of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology depending on the nature of the initiative. Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and/or phase-based gates, ensuring that delivery remains on track and goals are met. - Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Ensure timely and transparent communication around project scope, progress, risks, and decisions. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work across Sales, Sales Operations, IT, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Experience to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks. Translate business needs into actionable project plans and workstreams. - Project Scoping & Planning:
Support project intake and scoping activities by collaborating with analysts and business teams to define requirements, estimate effort, and assess resource needs. - Issue & Risk Management:
Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies early and drive resolution through collaboration and escalation when necessary. Maintain risk logs and status updates to ensure visibility. - Business Engagement & Change Management:
Collaborate with analysts and business partners to understand the impact of project changes, support readiness planning, and contribute to training and communications strategies. - Process & Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the development of repeatable project practices, playbooks, and team norms. Identify ways to improve delivery quality and efficiency across the project portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects of varying size and complexity-from process improvements to full platform launches
- Comfortable operating in both Agile and Waterfall environments; able to tailor approach based on stakeholder needs and project scope
- Experience delivering Salesforce-related initiatives, such as CRM enhancements, portal launches, or system integrations, is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills; capable of leading diverse stakeholder groups and managing competing priorities
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or other project tracking platforms
- Ability to assess project scope, align resources, and define success criteria in partnership with business and technical leads
- Demonstrated ability to manage risks, resolve conflict, and maintain momentum in complex or dynamic environments
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a focus on enabling others and removing barriers to delivery
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Adept at understanding the business context of technology initiatives and aligning projects with business objectives
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Sales Operations, Sales Management, Operations, or Information Systems is a plus
- 5-7 years of experience in project management, program delivery, or business systems leadership roles
- 5-7 years experience in systems analysis and design with a proven record of successful project implementations
- PMP, Scrum Mast (CSM) certifications are preferred
- Product Owner certification is a plus.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum or waterfall methodologies, including: eliciting/documenting user stories/acceptance criteria, managing the Product Backlog, leading daily Stand-Ups, and hosting Sprint Reviews.
- Prior experience managing projects that span both technical platforms and business process transformation
- Salesforce project experience is a strong plus, but broader platform experience is also welcome
- Developing knowledge of emerging technologies
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Trello
- Expertise in Salesforce and other systems
- Previous Sales Operation or Sales experience
- Previous Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Previous Industry experience is a plus
