Lead Technical Program Manager - Strategic & Quality Initiatives - Infotainment , Cloud , Connectivity , Cyber Security
We are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Program Manager to lead strategic programs, quality initiatives, compliance efforts, and metrics-driven improvements. The ideal candidate will:
The Role:
Oversee Infotainment, Cloud, Connectivity, Cyber Security (ICCS) strategic, quality, compliance and metrics programs
Lead and coordinate cross-functional technical projects, ensuring alignment across teams and accountability to project and company goals
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
Drive quality and reliability initiatives within software and hardware solutions, implementing best practices and continuous improvement processes
Oversee FOSS compliance initiatives, ensuring proper usage, attribution, and license adherence across all software projects.
Conduct regular risk assessments and design mitigation strategies for key risks identified across projects and programs
Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for programs, creating dashboards for stakeholder visibility
Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights
Oversee the development and implementation of technical standards and architectural guidelines across projects
Collaborate with product management to align technical initiatives with overall product strategy and roadmap
Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations, ensuring they meet quality and compliance standards
Lead post-mortem analyses on project successes and failures, implementing lessons learned in future initiatives
Mentor junior program managers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in program management, quality assurance, and compliance
Optimize processes for efficiency and scalability, leveraging automation where possible
Manage budget and resources across multiple projects, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or a related technical field is required
Minimum 12 years of experience in technical program management, emphasizing strategic initiatives, quality assurance, and compliance
Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects, implement quality initiatives, and drive results across organizations
Comprehensive understanding of FOSS compliance, software licensing, and risk management principles
Expertise in software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, KPI tracking, and dashboard creation
Strong communication skills: ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and foster cross-team collaboration
Demonstrated proficiency in developing technical standards, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing processes for efficiency
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master)
History of implementing innovative quality assurance and process optimization initiatives software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, KPI tracking, and dashboard creation
Advanced skills in project management tools, particularly Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or a related technical field
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, cross-functional technical projects
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master)
History of implementing innovative quality assurance and process optimization initiatives
Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior program managers
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organizational change
Previous work experience in automotive industry is a plus
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

$182,000-$266,860 USD
