We are currently looking for a Material Managerto join our team.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Constructive Renovations, this position manages the procurement, inventory, and logistics of materials used for residential interior design projects. This role ensures timely availability of quality materials, cost-effective purchasing,g and efficient coordination with vendors and construction teams to meet project timelines.

Additionally, this role partners with clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure materials meet design specifications and budgets while facilitating timely selections. This position develops and presents professional solutions to streamline material orders and selections and supports the estimator and sales team by coordinating finished product selections.

Qualifications include:
  • High school diploma or GED Required, Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business or related field preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in the renovation or construction industry
  • 2+ years' experience in sales
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, HOA and building codes
  • Working knowledge of styles, trends and color balancing within the specific market location
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Client-focused with a strong sense of aesthetics, creativity and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including clients, contractors and vendors
  • Experience in residential or commercial renovation projects preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to facilitate meetings and effectively lead discussions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to explain decisions and the reasons why to promote understanding and buy-in with others
  • Solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgement

Compensation
  • The hiring range for this position is between $75,000.00-$120,000.00 annually
  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
