Responsibilities

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth has an exciting APN opportunity in our Wound Clinic in La Grange with rounding at our Medical Centers in La Grange, Hinsdale and Bolingbrook.

• Experience in wound care, preferred
• Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with Attending Physician
• Rounding to include patient care and new consults
• Opportunity to grow your own patient panel
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Call coverage: APN's to cover weekday/weekend call on occasion when Physician is not available
• ACLS certification required; APN will monitor hyperbaric therapy
• Collaborative and friendly team
• New Grads may be considered
• Annual Salary: $105K - $118K

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Master's degree in Nursing

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
• ACLS Certification, required
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
