The role of VP, Overlay Management (Axos Invest) is pivotal in leading the team, Axos Invest Portfolio Management Group (APMG) in managing the assets of clients using the Managed Account and Self-Directed Trading Platform. The licensed overlay manager role is responsible for all portfolio management coordination, trade implementation, operations, tax loss harvesting and customization. This role is responsible for ensuring that clients are achieving their objectives through results driven portfolio management. This role plays a critical role in ensuring that client performance outcomes are achieved.
The VP, Overlay Management (Axos Invest) will help define and implement best practice portfolio management. The person will manage key account relationships with Managed Portfolios managers for their product offering model offering and model implementation. The person will identify current and new features that could be developed or enhanced in the current model trading platform.
For Self-Directed Trading, the person in this role will oversee the order management, trade fulfillment, product offerings, features, and services of the self-directed trading platform. The person will oversee front, middle, and back office to ensure that customers are receiving timely services associated with all aspects of the trading platform.
This position influences platform adoption and asset acquisition through excellence in portfolio management and operations.

Responsibilities
- Internal and External Asset Management Implementation
- Axos Portfolio Management Group policies and procedures
- Model Delivery policies and procedures
- Oversee interactions with managers on their model offerings and portfolio management
- Interact with CIO on design, portfolio management and trade coordination for Invest model
- Coordinate and Implement client trading activities to effect positive outcomes for clients
- Money Movement requests
- Order Management/Model Selection
- Tax Loss Harvesting
- Customization
- Fee Billing
- Front and Middle Operations for RIA and Broker/Dealer
- Coordinate with Clearing and AAS for back office operations
- Coordinate with legal compliance and outside compliance consultant
- Facilitate features and tech needs with product development teams
- Regularly review and communicate statuses, adoption and effectiveness of initiative and product efforts
- Strategy and Training
- Contribute to Invest strategy by identifying key features or services to help drive adoption
- Identify ways to articulate value of portfolio management to empower licensed team in client acquisition
- Develop training programs on benefits of customization, tax loss harvesting, managers and model
- Identify and review potential service providers as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in operations or portfolio management or a related role
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field
- SIE, Series 7, Series 66.
- Strong leadership and management skills; experience managing a team
- Obsessed with customer satisfaction and a Passion for portfolio management
- Deep understanding of financial markets, technical and fundamental analysis
- Strong understanding of stocks, bonds, exchange traded funds, and mutual funds.,
- Understanding of Managed Accounts, the industry and competitor offerings
- Managed Account Industry and operational exceptional ability to articulate business and product needs and solutions at
