This is a largely sedentary role; however, some standing, walking, bending, and reaching may be required. Regularly operates in an office or home office setting which involves utilizing a computer, mouse, keyboard, and occasionally operates other standard office equipment, such as printer, copier, phone. Travel may be required by either car or airplane, or a combination of multiple modes of transportation.

This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence through data visualization, reporting, and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Tableau and a proven ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives across functional areas. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau.
- Data Strategy & Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key metrics and KPIs that answer their most relevant questions. Optimize data models, queries, and performance to ensure efficient reporting.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business units to gather requirements, define goals, and deliver data-driven solutions. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
- Advanced Analytics: Utilize statistical methods, predictive modeling, or other analytical techniques to solve complex business problems. Support ad-hoc analysis requests and deep-dive projects.
- Data Governance: Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security across all reporting and analysis processes. Document processes and maintain reporting standards for consistency.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in analytical discipline (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics) or related field. May substitute relevant work experience for a degree.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- 3+ years of experience with PBM or other health care claims.
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data insights into strategic recommendations.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
PREFERENCES
- Experience with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Hands on and demonstrated experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry.
- Solid understanding of PBM Operations including claims submission and processing, and familiarity with medications and their uses.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Tableau Certification, or other certifications for data visualization.
- Experience with big data platforms and cloud-based analytics technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Alteryx).
