Portfolio Manager
As our new Portfolio Manager, you will be at the heart of our dynamic, global organization, advising and coordinating decision-making on the portfolio of initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, and fostering agile delivery through streamlined governance. You'll support teams with best practices, drive continuous improvement using value-driven metrics, and ensure Ahold Delhaize maintains the processes and structures needed to sustain our high performance.

As Portfolio Manager, you will be joining our Group Tech department with focus on HR applications. Our Tech department is the driving force behind the innovation and digital transformation within our organization. By leveraging cutting-edge IT solutions, we support HR functions in streamlining recruitment, improving talent management, and enhancing employee engagement through technology. Key responsibilities of your role
Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:
Change Portfolio Management Process Design: Design and implement processes around the total change portfolio. Develop and maintain supporting tools such as portfolio dashboards and templates for business cases and project plans. Advise and guide stakeholders in executing activities regarding portfolio management. Advise regarding agile steering, controlling, and take responsibility for the project- as well as the agile portfolio.
Agile Portfolio Monitoring: Advise Business and Technology management on the prioritization of Technology initiatives considering the organizational goals. Continuously assess and adjust the alignment of initiatives in line with the strategic goals and ensuring they meet agile standards. Review business cases and adjust the change portfolio as a result of initiatives and changes. Guard the progress and financial realization of initiatives in the portfolio regarding the agreed planning and business cases. Signal and control dependencies or conflicts between initiatives and engaging relevant stakeholders as needed. Foster stakeholder collaboration and communication across the change portfolio.
Preparation IT-Portfolio Board: Develop aggregated reports regarding the status of initiatives in the portfolio to inform and advise stakeholders. Support the preparation activities of the IT Portfolio Board decision-making. Organize, prepare, and facilitate the Technology portfolio board meetings with representatives of the business and stakeholders with the aim of decision-making.

OKR Reporting & Tracking:
- Assist in the tracking and reporting of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) across teams within Hr platform, ensuring that progress is monitored and communicated to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams to gather relevant data, update OKRs dashboards, and ensure that performance metrics are accurately captured and reported.
- Support leadership in preparing OKR status updates for regular review sessions, highlighting progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Support with Head of Tech for Progress Tracking:
- Work closely with the Heads of Tech to ensure that technical initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and track their progress against the defined OKRs.
- Provide visibility into key technical milestones, report on delivery progress, and ensure transparency across teams.
Program Increment (PI) Planning Support:
- Support the PI planning process by assisting with coordination and ensuring that all teams are aligned on objectives, deliverables, and timelines for the upcoming increment.
- Help document key decisions, dependencies, and risks identified during PI planning sessions.
- Ensure that progress is tracked during and after the PI planning cycle, helping to identify any deviations from planned deliverables.

Requirements
We think you'll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Economics, or a comparable field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Agile portfolio management.
- Knowledge and experience with agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, XP, and product- and project portfolio management.
- Extensive knowledge of processes, methods, structures, and cultures within business and IT/Technology organizations.
- Expert knowledge regarding IT governance and (project) portfolio management.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
