At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The salary for this role ranges from $84,000 to $126,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don't typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, which rewards individual and organizational performance.

Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Maintain Direct Operational Control through Delegated Authority of the Director of Operations
- Resolve Escalated technical operational issues
- Respond to Urgent flight crew communication
- Ensure Safety and Regulatory Compliance within the Flight Control Department
- Manage staffing for the Flight Control Department (Non scheduling)
- Enforcement of standards within the Flight Controller and Mission Planning Teams
- Liase with development for FMS Updates.
- Liase directly with Senior Leadership of various departments for resolution of time sensitive issues.
Qualifications

- Extraordinary technical savviness.
- Demonstrated Mastery in regulatory, company, and SOP guidance.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to fulfill open shifts, required coverages.
- Ability to maintain clear thinking under high stress situations.
- Minimum 5 years of Mission Planning, Or Flight Control Experience, or equivalent experience
- Valid Driver's License
Physical Requirements

- Ability to sit and or stand for long periods of time up to 8 hours per day.
