What You'll Do
- Support the development, deployment, and monitoring of secure DevSecOps pipelines
- Collaborate across cybersecurity, engineering, and operations to ensure security is embedded throughout the SDLC
- Help integrate feedback loops, security services, and compliance checks into agile workflows
- Troubleshoot issues in container deployment, pipeline automation, and infrastructure performance
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation-task templates, process updates, knowledge bases
- Assist with onboarding and training team members on secure development tools and best practices
- Analyze pipeline performance and delivery data to recommend improvements
- Review artifacts for compliance, traceability, and deployment readiness
- Support task scoping and backlog grooming to align DevSecOps efforts with mission and budget goals
What You Bring
Required:
- At least 3 years of experience supporting DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, or secure automation in a DoD or regulated environment
- Strong grasp of DevSecOps principles and secure development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
- Hands-on experience with pipeline tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Tekton, or ArgoCD
- Comfortable reviewing and writing technical documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including advanced Excel), basic Visio, and intermediate Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with wiki-style systems and content management for technical documentation
- Ability to adapt and execute with minimal supervision in evolving environments
Preferred:
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence (Atlassian suite)
- Scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Exposure to Kubernetes, Helm charts, OpenShift, or container security
- Experience working in Agile or sprint-based environments
- Agile and Office software certifications are a bonus
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems)
- Agile training or certifications preferred
Clearance Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Secret clearance required
- TS/SCI clearance preferred
Work Location & Travel
- Onsite at NAVWAR in San Diego, CA
- Some travel may be required for customer engagement, collaboration, or project support
