Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Clinical Compliance: Adhere to state and institutional requirements for
clinical education, ensuring full compliance with regulations and accreditation
standards.
2. Monitor Clinical Sites: Evaluate the sufficiency and quality of clinical sites to provide
diverse, high-quality experiences that align with curriculum objectives and professional
preparation. Obtain and assess new clinical affiliation agreements as needed.
3. Maintain Policies & Procedures: Update and manage clinical policies in the Nursing
Student Handbook and SOP manual, ensuring clear expectations for students and
faculty.
4. Communicate Program Policies: Under the direction of the Dean or Executive
Director of Nursing, inform preceptors, administrators, faculty, and students about
program policies, procedures, and evaluation activities related to clinical learning.
5. Address Clinical Issues: Resolve clinical compliance concerns, preceptor availability
challenges, and student performance issues by implementing effective strategies for
continuous improvement.
6. Oversee Clinical Instructor Training: Facilitate onboarding and training to ensure
clinical instructors are well-prepared to uphold program expectations and enhance
student learning experiences.
7. Maintain Best Practices: Curate and manage resources related to nursing education,
clinical learning, and simulation best practices.

8. Develop Clinical & Simulation Curriculum: Design and refine curriculum materials
to enhance clinical and simulation-based learning.
9. Support Additional Needs: Assist with other tasks as needed to support program goals
and student success.
Requirements
Education: A minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing required. Experience: Minimum three years of full-time clinical experience in a professional setting in the role of a Registered Nurse required. Experience as an educator in post-secondary nursing education required. Experience in designing and conducting nursing simulations.
Licensure: Active unencumbered licensed to practice professional nursing, compact multi-state license preferred.
