About the Role
As a Senior Cultural Insights Manager, you will be a pivotal leader in shaping our clients' success by transforming complex data and cultural nuances into strategic imperatives. You will own the development and execution of comprehensive insights strategies, guiding brands to forge authentic connections with diverse consumer segments. Leveraging your deep expertise in market research, first party panel management, cultural intelligence, and strategic analysis, you will drive key initiatives, including consumer segmentation, brand positioning, and future-forward trend forecasting. This role is perfect for a visionary leader who can independently navigate complex projects, build trusted client partnerships, and deliver impactful, data-driven narratives that drive measurable business outcomes. The Senior Cultural Insights Manager may have a direct report in the future, depending on team structure and needs.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000. The salary and bonus structure is determined on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Ownership: Define and lead the development of comprehensive insights strategies that align with clients' business objectives and resonate with diverse audiences.
- Client Partnership & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior-level clients, independently leading strategic discussions and delivering high-impact presentations that influence key business decisions.
- Advanced Insights Development: Architect and execute sophisticated research methodologies, integrating first and third-party data, proprietary tools, and cultural intelligence to uncover actionable insights.
- Trend Foresight & Innovation: Proactively identify emerging trends and methodologies, driving innovation within the insights practice and ensuring our clients stay ahead of market shifts.
- Panel Leadership & Optimization: Oversee and optimize first-party panel management, ensuring data integrity and maximizing engagement to deliver high-quality, actionable insights.
- Thought Leadership & Mentorship: Share expertise and thought leadership through client presentations, industry events, and internal knowledge sharing.
- Strategic Storytelling & Communication: Develop and deliver compelling narratives that translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Independent Project Management: Independently manage and prioritize complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing strategic insights initiatives, with a proven track record of driving measurable business impact.
- Extensive experience in advanced consumer segmentation, trend analysis, and market research methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at senior levels.
- Proven ability to work independently, lead complex projects, and make strategic decisions in a dynamic environment.
- A strategic thinker with a passion for culture, trends, and brand strategy, and a relentless curiosity for understanding consumer behavior.
- Demonstrated experience leading client meetings with high-profile clients, delivering actionable insights, and building strong, trusted relationships.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or work experience in a relevant field (e.g., marketing research, statistics, psychology, communications).
- 7+ years of experience in market research or a related field.
