Department of Neurosurgery
The Department of Neurosurgery, Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, is seeking an open-rank full-time faculty member with a demonstrated interest in developing a productive academic neurosurgery practice.
The department is looking to hire a neurosurgeon with a specialization in Skull Base Neurosurgery who wants to advance their academic career in the clinical and research arenas.
Opportunity Details
Candidates must be American Board Certified or American Board Eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) and have advanced training and expertise in Skull Base Neurosurgery. The candidate will be committed to working within an active academic department with clinical, teaching, and research responsibilities and will obtain and maintain a Texas Medical License. The Department of Neurosurgery is a multidisciplinary department committed to translational, basic science, and outcomes research. Our Mission is to foster the education, training, and development of future neurological surgeons, to generate new knowledge through innovative research and clinical trials that impact health care and improve lives, and to provide compassionate, competent neurosurgical care to our community. Salary and academic appointments will be commensurate with qualifications and rank. Academic rank is open and will be dependent upon experience and qualifications.
