Description
Position Objective: This position supports Rubino & Company's clients by leading and managing multiple tax engagements that integrate tax efficiency with long-term planning strategies. Also responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring tax staff, seniors, and other staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and review multi-state, C corporation tax returns, pass-through entity and individual tax returns, and exempt organization tax filings as well as fiduciary, trust, and estate returns.
- Facilitate complex tax research, establish tax strategies for client business opportunities
- Advise clients regarding IRS and state issues, respond to correspondence and audits
- Implement tax advice in response to new legislation and planning
- Provide responsive, high-quality tax services to clients at all times
- Provide supervision, training, mentoring, and guidance to tax staff, seniors, and other members of the team
- Contribute to firm marketing and business development activities
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA; Current and in good standing
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in public accounting; minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience
