Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Fiscal Excellence:
- Know your business inside and out. This requires constant review of revenue, guest counts, food cost, inventory, productivity, staffing quality, CER scores, health department inspections, and restaurant audit scores.
- Know your markets and actively engage your team in managing the brand's reputation. Enshrine the brand in local schools, universities, businesses, and with community leaders.
- Know your competition. Identify their areas of weakness and use them to amplify your brands and teams' strengths. Play to win.
Leading, Training, & Coaching:
- Establish fully staffed and trained teams that adopt a "full hands-in, full hands-out" guest service philosophy. Create a collaborative culture that requires all team members to have a singular focus on delivering a remarkable, memorable, and hospitable guest experience.
- Be a consistent and forceful presence of positivity inside your restaurants. Be impactful. Lead, coach, and mentor restaurant teams.
- Always be a morale builder, ensuring all team members feel excited, engaged, and empowered regarding their responsibilities, and the direction CHG is moving.
- Identify and maintain a list of rising stars and future leaders for each location inside your restaurants and out. Never stop recruiting and developing your future leaders.
- Above all, be a proud and vocal brand ambassador in the local markets you serve.
Planning & Collaborating:
- Collaborate with senior and restaurant leadership to develop, communicate, and execute market specific business plans that align with CHG's long-term goals.
- Regularly meet with restaurant leadership to review achievements and areas requiring improvement. Keep senior leadership informed of progress.
- Ensure all team members, including restaurant leadership, understand and comply with CHG standards and policies, taking appropriate action as needed.
Qualifications/Skills/Education/Certifications/Experience:
Required Qualifications/Skills
- Proven Ability to meet or exceed budget requirements.
- Plan, organize, and direct, in a profitable manner, the operations of multiple restaurants.
- Identify and develop new leaders within teams.
- Proven ability to use guest feedback to improve "four-walls" operations.
- Proven ability to interpret restaurant metrics, diagnose financial opportunities, and implement successful action plans to resolve financial opportunities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to lead subordinate team members.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Professional verbal and written skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalency determined by management.
- Degree in hospitality, business, or another related field is a plus.
- Minimum two years of General Manager experience required.
- Previous multi-unit restaurant leadership experience preferred.

- Position requires high mobility and extensive travel.
- Up to five nights a week away from home at times may be required.
- A minimum of 50 hours per week is required to meet the job's expectations.
- Consistently working nights and weekends.
- Must be able to climb / descend stairs and may involve occasional periods of lifting to 50 pounds as required to carry restaurant supplies.
