Job Description
Purpose
The Reliability Manager is responsible for driving continuous reliability improvements by providing and coordinating technical support and by managing the reliability improvement processes for the site, with the aim of reducing the risk levels to the business. This role will set asset care strategies of key production, utility and infrastructure assets. Additionally, it will ensure distribution of key departmental wide reports on KPIs to measure and improve performance. To effectively manage the reliability program, this position will need to interface with a diverse audience including customers, engineers, and vendors as well as effectively managing a team of reliability engineering personnel. Additionally, the this position will be accountable for defining and tracking key technical training for the department, ensuring technical skills needed to support the business are maintained at an appropriate level across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, and safety systems
- Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failure, and apply knowledge in methods and processes to prevent, or reduce, the likelihood or frequency of failures in site systems by applying reliability principles such as RCM, RCA, Failure Diagnosis, Data/Trend Analysis, etc
- Responsible for adherence to Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) process throughout the entire life cycle of assets
- Supervisory responsibility for exempt and non exempt personnel, including performance evaluation, talent acquisition, succession planning, training and talent development, and performance management
- Responsible for the compliance of the team to policies and procedures including any relevant safety or quality procedures, as well as compliance with any relevant regulatory body requirements, including but not limited to FDA, OSHA, EPA, DEA, etc.
- Partner with Project Engineering to ensure reliability of new and modified installations
- Drive continuous improvement through automation of manual tasks, incorporation of new technology to improve efficiency, and system optimization to reduce energy usage
Qualifications
- Bachelors qualification in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics, or Trade with 5+ years of experience, or 10+ years of relevant work experience in maintenance, reliability or related field and a reliability engineering accreditation like: (CMRP, RMIC, CRE, CRP)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation skills - are required
- Good organizational skills to set up work processes, organize project work, run or support a meeting and effectively coordinate and manage groups are preferred.
- Strong IT Skills, and proficient in the use of Computer-based Maintenance Management system (CMMS)
- Possess project management skills - Ensure establishment of an executable project plan, schedule, budget, resource requirements, and performance standards
- Familiarity with and ability to apply reliability tools - RCM, RCA, Fault Tree, etc.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
