Information Services is comprised of over 650 individuals working together to provide effective delivery of system development, implementation and support as well as strategic IT planning and analysis to BJC's Hospitals and Health Service Organizations.

Role Purpose

The Technology Infrastructure Manager reports to a Technology Management, Senior Manager, within the Delivery & Operations (D&O) organization, and manages an Infrastructure & Operations technology domain portfolio, designing and delivering infrastructure solutions (applications, products, services and technologies) that underpin business technology solutions, as well as solutions directly used by all BJC workforce (e.g. client computing, user connectivity, communication & collaboration).

Responsibilities
  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
  • Design, deliver and supports one or more of the D&O portfolios as assigned. Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure systems are up-to-date and effective.
  • Maintain assigned solution portfolio so solution assets meet architecture standards to minimize operational and security risks.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for the delivery of infrastructure technologies and services with the mix of internal resources and third-party resources necessary to achieve both the defined SLAs, KPIs and OPIs.
  • Digitize the seamless delivery of user-facing services that optimize self-service and self-fulfillment delivery. Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology solutions to drive continuous improvement in infrastructure architecture that leverages next-generation software-defined data center infrastructure technologies and partnerships to leverage capabilities that accelerate infrastructure solution delivery.
