Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical and results-driven individual to join our leadership team as Director of Revenue Management at the Miami Pullman Airport.

The Director of Revenue Management is a key position that will be responsible for maximizing and forecasting room revenues through management of room inventory and pricing. They will have the ability to evaluate and articulate current and future trends and strategies that impact yield decisions. Work collaboratively with the e-commerce and marketing departments to develop a strategic plan to drive rooms and ancillary revenues.

The successful candidate will be highly analytical, goal oriented and have a proven track record of being able to gain market share. They need to be a team player that is open to learning, leads by example, responds with courtesy and professionalism and is fully supportive of the team.

Your Role:
  • Develop and implement data-driven pricing strategies for all market segments to drive RevPAR and occupancy.
  • Leverage Pullman's unique brand positioning, proximity to MIA, and event space to grow TrevPAR across all business verticals.
  • Forecast demand and implement strategies based on airport traffic, group trends, and airline business fluctuations.
  • Maximize contribution across all distribution channels and optimize the mix of business.
  • Clearly communicate past, current, and future revenue strategies to the hotel and regional leadership teams and ownership.
  • Develop tactical strategies aligned with the hotel's repositioning and any upcoming capital improvements.
  • Understand and cultivate relationships with OTAs, key accounts and consortia partners
  • Evaluate and conduct displacement analysis for both contract and group business leads in collaboration with the Director of Sales to ensure optimal mix of business and pricing strategies to drive RevPAR
  • Partner with the Sales and Marketing team to set minimum acceptable group rates, upsell opportunities, and support promotional offers.
  • Collaborate with Accor and corporate commercial teams to ensure alignment with brand and system strategies.
  • Provide leadership in maintaining and leveraging RM tools and systems (Opera, TARS, IDeaS & FDC).
  • Monitor and analyze competitive set performance and adjust strategies to ensure Pullman Miami remains competitive in the airport and greater Miami market.
  • Provide insight into staffing and labor forecasts by sharing booking pace and occupancy projections with the operations team.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process, providing accurate forecasting and performance insights.
  • Evaluate and report on the ROI of any internal upsell or incentive programs for the reservations or front office teams.


Location:
Position can be on-site or hybrid/remote with ability to travel to the hotel regularly. Ideal candidate is based in Central to South Florida, with knowledge of the Miami or greater airport markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Director of Revenue Management, preferably with airport or soft brand/independent experience
  • Experience in the South Florida markets is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic revenue plans and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Experience in systems including Opera, IDeaS, FDC and business intelligence tools like Power BI preferred
  • Expert in utilizing and analyzing data in Demand360 and Co-STR
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced hotel environment.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.


Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $95,000.00/Yr. - $115,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
