We are responsible for Supply Chain Planning, Global Commodity Management, Global Manufacturing, New Product Introduction, Product Lifecycle Management, Global Logistics, Program Management, Supply Chain Responsibility, and Supply Chain BizOps.

The Global Silicon Technology and Sourcing team seeks a Director, to set up COT Assembly and Test technology infrastructure and delivering capacity for custom silicon through the Foundry and Outsource Assembly & Test (OSAT) technical management. You will partner with silicon engineering, supply chain planning, and finance to ensure silicon deliveries meet data center build timelines at the most optimized cost and cycle time. You'll interface with industry suppliers like TSMC, SPIL, Amkor, KYEC, substrate suppliers, and test hardware vendors to build the right technology, tester hardware, test strategy, optimized cycle time, and manage process creation for end to end silicon chip deliveries. In addition, you will partner with engineering to transfer manufacturing process, drive yield improvements/cost reduction and ramp assembly/test process to maturity for scale production.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $262,000-$369,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering in driving yield improvements and test optimizations across wafer, package, and system test areas. Manage assembly and test flows with global suppliers to deliver custom silicon chips into Google Cloud Data Center builds.
  • Be responsible for managing capacity across wafer, packaging, and test to deliver custom silicon chips.
  • Manage all elements of engineering to Global Silicon Technology handoff and then drive improvements in yield and assembly/test flows. This individual will build and transfer solutions for scale production.
  • Perform foundry and OSAT technical management across yield, test cost, quality, cycle time. Manage and drive reduction in cycle time for end to end silicon deliveries.
  • Yield and test operations and monitor/report Assembly health results during capacity ramp versus targets. Be a thought leader for Global Commodity Management for future scale needs.
