What you'll do:
  • Drives sourcing initiatives to ensure value, supply surety, and sustainable business practices.
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job activities and assignments by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans to meet customer and business needs.
  • Sets and communicates goals with business partners, measures progress and accountability, identifies improvement opportunities, promotes continuous learning, and demonstrates adaptability.
  • Develops product and market knowledge and industry know-how.
  • Collects and analyzes relevant data to formulate sourcing proposals.
  • Advances sourcing activities based on a supplier matrix ensuring supply surety.
  • Identifies suppliers, conducts diligence, and onboards them to address gaps.
  • Supports cost negotiations based on analysis and understanding of competitive component pricing and other factors affecting costing.
  • Ensures supplier quotations and samples are completed and received on a timely basis for appropriate decision-making and to meet objectives.
  • Organizes buying trips, including pre-trip itinerary setup, cost negotiation, and finalization to ensure the trip objectives are fully achieved.
  • Contributes to relevant business reports and recaps and informs stakeholders about findings.
  • Supports business partners with daily operations as needed.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$110,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
