The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

The role will provide Compliance support for the Volcker Rule Compliance Program in the Americas. Duties of this role will include:
  • Assisting the Volcker Officer in advising front office and support functions in respect of the design and administration of the enterprise Volcker Compliance program;
  • Maintain the firm's Volcker Compliance Manual and other related policies & procedures across impacted entities;
  • Help maintain Volcker Desk Procedures across 40+ Trading Desks across impacted entities in the Americas and EMEA;
  • Contributing to internal reports (e.g., management committees and the Board) - in particular the Quarterly Volcker Management Forums on the status of the Volcker Compliance program;
  • Working with Americas Compliance Testing and Internal Audit of the Americas to ensure compliance testing is appropriate based on the level of risk;
  • Assisting with Audit and Testing findings to help stakeholders with completing implementation plans to closure;
  • Assisting with the refresh and delivery of Compliance Training for the Volcker Rule; including ad hoc training as necessary to Front Office and Support functions;
  • Assisting with the creation of action plans for Volcker deliverables contributing to the Annual Compliance Plan;
  • Assisting with the wholesale revision of the Volcker Rule Control Matrix and standardizing controls across impacted entities in the Americas and EMEA;
  • Assisting with firm's annual CEO Attestation and sub-certification process and liaison with key Compliance stakeholders in Japan;


Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of compliance experience in a regulatory with focus on advisory and policy development, preferably a large global investment bank or consulting firm;
  • Strong working knowledge of the Volcker Rule;
  • Strong verbal, written and organizational skills;
  • Strong strategic, problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work on multiple deliverables at one time;
  • People skills and communication skills, ability to leverage working with Compliance and business colleagues globally


The typical base pay range for this role is between $92K - $115K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
