Responsibilities
Civil Design team sits in SB, with a hybrid schedule of 2-days in office. The position can also be based out of the Ventura Office. Our team environment is collaborative and supportive, with a team size of 5. The dress code is business casual, and standard working hours are from 8am to 5pm. Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for various types of projects including single-family residences, multifamily housing developments, commercial and institutional buildings, and school sports fields.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop designs using materials such as wood, masonry, steel, and concrete.
- Engage in both public and private sector projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Interact with clients to understand project requirements and provide regular updates.
- Utilize CAD standards and civil engineering software to create detailed project designs.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design.
- Experience with structural engineering principles.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software (RISA-3D, Enercalc, Tedds, or equivalent).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of CAD standards.
- Experience with project design and client interaction.
- Experience in budget management.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
