- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process
- Maintain cash forecasting models
- Maintain internal controls
- Collaborate with tax professionals
- Develop and evolve the finance department
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing accounting or plant finance or external auditing firm, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and financial compliance
- Experience working cross functionally to establish budgets and collaborate across teams and promoting financial discipline and diligence.
- Experience with forecasting and variance analysis.
- Experience in cash forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital optimization (preferred)
- Previous experience closely partnering with founders or c-suite executives to inform and guide company decisions.
